How do I play?

Everyone gets 4 face-down cards, 4 face-up cards on top of them, and a hand of 11. On your turn, play one or more cards of the same rank that are equal to or lower than the top of the pile (Ace is low, King is high). When your hand is empty, play your face-up cards, then your face-down cards blind.

• Swoop! Four of the same rank in a row, or any 10 or Joker, clears the pile, and you start a new one.
• Can't play? Pick up the whole pile.
• Scoring: when someone runs out of cards, everyone else scores what they're still holding. Ace to 9 count face value, Jack, Queen and King count 10, and 10s and Jokers count 50. Lowest total wins.

How do I play with friends?

Choose online play, create a room, and share the room code. Friends enter the code to join. The host can fill empty seats with bots and starts the game when everyone's in.

I lost my connection. Can I get back in?

Yes. A bot keeps your seat warm. Rejoin the same room using the same display name and you'll pick up where you left off.

Someone in my room already has my name

Two players in a room can't share a name, so Swoop adds a number to the second one (for example, "Sam 2").
